The swirling splash appeared to be about the size of three zinc washtubs, so familiar to rural families several decades ago. 'What a 'blowup!' ' shouted David Clubb. 'That's a huge fish!' Clubb's friend and fishing buddy, Scott Atwell, agreed. In fact, Atwell alertly had removed the rod and reel from a holder on the gunnel of Clubb's boat within seconds of the splash.
